Yes, amazingly, and contrary to what every other country does, the Russian government has lowered their visa fees for Canadians.
It is only a small reduction, but that is better than an increase!
An urgent single-entry visa done in about 5 working days costs $499. tax included (estimate).
A regular single-entry visa done in 20 working days costs $290. tax included (estimate).
The new fees are effective immediately today, 01 February 2019.
